There is still some hope! All around the world, survivor groups are struggling to survive. Each of them developed its market: Some became hunters, others are fishermen or healers. 

For example, healers are selling their antidotes to the hunters. In exchange, they give their meat. A flourishing market is created! 

The Webcup goal ? To make a website where every group has to promote his products.

Today Let’s meet Toolseeta, digital project manager in Mauritius at Esokia for 2 years!

What is your educational background?

First, I did a Bachelor’s degree in information systems and then a master in informations systems management.

What is a project manager? What do you do?

Created in 2001, lepetitjournal.com is a news website which provides local and general information intended for French expats around the World. On Wednesday 20th September 2017, the brand new version of the website has been unveiled to its online users. The aim of the new website is to put forth useful and important news, but also to be more interactive and closer to its worldwide users.

Users increasingly tend to favor human connections and trust brands that have a strong personality and identity. Brands promote personal relationships with their customers and offer them relevant content for better engagement.

Esokia participated for the first time at the Career Festival of the Charles Telfair Institute (CTI) on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 10: 00 to 15: 00. Not less than thirty companies from various fields took part in this event. And because we are the digital addicts, our team would not have missed the opportunity to meet those who have the same passion for the technology like us.

All the web development passionates were present on Saturday October 21st and Sunday October 22nd 2017 at la Turbine, Vivéa Business Park, Moka. As the previous year, there was a really good atmosphere and a lot of energy. Before the start of the competition, words of encouragement and a presentation were given. The competition started at 1:30pm and gathered not less than 17 teams (60 developers) who were competing for the Krakathon 2017. They had to take on several coding exercises and try to collect a maximum amount of points in 24 hours non-stop.

Esokia has once again used its expertise on behalf of a major Mauritian client. A major challenge since we are committed to the SBM (State Bank of Mauritius) for the redesign of their website.

Founded in 1973, SBM Holdings is one of the most important banking institution of Mauritius, and is also present in several countries such as Madagascar, India and Kenya. In 2016, The Banker even ranked it among the top 1000 banks in the world... A real challenge for our digital team.
